There are few Indian restaurants in Cyprus. But i have never heard about Indian groceries. I think there are not.

You can come to Cyprus only by air. It's very simple. You can come to one of two legal airports of Cyprus (Larnaca or Paphos airport) and from there you can go to any place you want in Cyprus.

Most of the pubs in Cyprus stay open until December. For the specific pub you mentioned I don't know if they will stay open.

The busiest months are from May until September. The other months are very quite and they are good for quality tourism and relaxation.

thanks for all your earlier answers. Here are a few more i would appreciate if you could answer. Since we will be hiring a car, would like to know how easy it is to find parking? Are there enough spots or is it a pain. What are the parking charges for an hour? I will have my 18 month old son with me? Are there baby changing rooms available easily? Are there public toilets readily available or do we need to use a tavern etc? we have booked ourselves in small cottages to enjoy Cyprus's agrotourism. Do u think mosquitos will be a problem in the second half of october? many Thanks.

You can find parking spots very easy. The prices can be from �2 the first hour.
I can't say that there are a lot of public toilets but most of the restaurants/cafe/hotels have changing rooms for babies.
Mosquitos are not a problem in Cyprus. You will need only a small Electric Mosquito mat, which you can find it in all stores and kiosk in Cyprus.

First of all you can check our page Rent a Car for a list of all major car renters in Cyprus. For what you asked, the prices can be from �25 up to �100 per day, according the type of the car. The price for Gasoline Unleaded 95 is around �0.96/liter.

How many beers can one generally have and still be under the permisible limit for driving? i know the limit in terms of mircrograms etc but wanted a simpler explaination. hope u can help. Thanks.

Danny, the limit in Cyprus is 22mg. So you have to be lower than this. From my experience, I have drunk 3 pints of Beer (KEO!!) in 1 hour and I have been caught by the police with 26mg in my blood. So you can understand how easy is to rich that limit. The best think you can do is not to drink so much alcohol, but if you are going to drink, don�t drink the last half hour before you leave from a bar/club.

How far is Polystipos village from Larnaca airport? How to reach there and how much travel time it takes and charges for it? Polystipos village is located in the mountain area near Agros and Chandria which are bigger villages than Polystipos. Thanks for your help

You will need 90 minutes with a car to reach Polystipos from the airport. You will have to rent a car or take a taxi. If you rent a car, you will find very useful information on how to get to Agros and after to Polystipos on this site .A taxi will charge you a lot. More than 60 euros for sure. Cyprus cuisine is based on vegetables and on the Mediterranean cuisine. There are lots of vegetarian dishes and most restaurants offer dishes for vegetarians. So, you don't have to worry about food.

We want to go to Cyprus in august, with our 2 boys 16 and 13. They want good beach, water sports, water park or water slides, good pool etc, we want some spa facilities, good food, not too quiet but not noisy and night clubby either, which area and which hotels you recommend?

I would recommend you to stay at Paphos. Paphos have probably the best tourist facilities in Cyprus. Also there are lot of water sports business and good places to swim. In Paphos is located also the Aphrodite Water park (www.aphroditewaterpark.com) which is one of the most famous water park of the island.

How far is it from Larnaca airport to Kantara? And how far is it from Kyrenia to Larnaca airport? How much is it likely to cost to transfer between each destination/ We're thinking of taking a trip but want to know the best way to reach Kantara.

Kantara is occupied by Turkish troops since 1974. To go from the Larnaca airport to Kantara you have to cross the illegal borders that was established since the Turkish illegal invasion. It will take approximately 2 hours for this root. If you are going to rent a car for this trip no car company can give you an insurance to go to the illegal occupied part of Cyprus. You have to go to Nicosia and from there to go to the illegal occupied part of Cyprus and to Kantara. Remember, going to an area not controlled by the Cyprus government you loose all your right for anything happens to you since no country in all the world recognize that part that was illegally occupied by Turkish troops.

Propably very few. We can not give an exact numbers. The municibality of Larnaca is responsible for giving permission to setup this kind of buisiness.

The current currency in Cyprus is the Cypriot Pound. From 2008 Euro will also be used. You can go here for more information about Cyprus Currency.
